ColorNavigator6 and ColorNavigator7 are currently NOT compatible with macOS 11 BigSur. Please do not update until the BigSur compatible version is released.
We are currently working hard on building the software update. Target release: end of 2020.

In summary - Mac OS 10.15 Catalina has been programmed to work with 64-bit systems only.
Earlier ColorEdge models - while still running strong - can only be calibrated with ColorNavigator 6 (a 32-bit programme).
The below software are 32-bit applications, which are not supported by macOS Catalina:

- ColorNavigator NX

If your monitor is not in the below list, it is recommended to upgrade to ColorNavigator 7.0.7, the latest software that combines features of ColorNavigator 6 and NX
The below monitors are only compatible with ColorNavigator 6 and NX and are not supported by macOS Catalina. Option 1 - Do not upgrade, if you can avoid it
If you would like to continue using ColorNavigator 6 or NX to hardware calibrate your monitor, please do not update to Catalina or BigSur. We do understand that this is not an option for some of you, so read on.

Option 3 - Purchase basICColor Display 6
BasICColor is the next best thing to ColorNavigator. This monitor calibration software works with all ColorEdge models, no matter the age. Like ColorNavigator, BasICColor is a hardware calibration software - this means it calibrates the monitor's RGB properties directly (rather than adjusting the video card signal being transmitted from your computer, which can be described as 'lossy').

Compatibility
Compatibility with Thunderbolt of Mac mini and MacBook Air
We have tested the compatibility between Thunderbolt of Mac mini (Mid 2011 and Mid 2010) and MacBook Air and EIZO monitors.

1. What is Thunderbolt?
From the latest MacBook Pro model called Early 2011, MacBook Pro carries Thunderbolt port instead of Mini DisplayPort. The port is said to be compatible with Mini DisplayPort in its shape and signal protocol.

2. Validation Results
- With the Apple Thunderbolt cable (Mini DisplayPort － Mini DisplayPort), the screen is not displayed. Use the EIZO PM200 cable （Mini DisplayPort－DisplayPort).
- Displaying 2560 x 1440 resolution via an HDMI-DVI adapter is not available.
- With the CG241W, S2243W, and EV2333W displaying the recommended resolution in an analog connection is not available.
- In some combinations, blue screen may be displayed for a moment when switching the input signals, turning off and on the secondary power switch, and when the screen is returning from the sleep state.
- In some combinations, sandstorm image may be displayed about one or two seconds when turning off and on the secondary power switch.
- In the combination of the S2243W and PM200 cable, the screen may not be displayed, when switching the input signals, turning off and on the secondary power switch, and when the screen is returning from the sleep state.
- In some combinations, the CG223W may not go into the power save state.
- In the combination of the CG275W and PM200 cable, the wallpaper may be switched, when turning off and on the secondary power switch.
